Here are seven recent news updates on gastroenterology and endoscopy companies.

The FDA sent warning letters to Fujifilm Medical Systems, Hoya Corporation and Olympus regarding their scopes and a number of violations.

Memorial Hermann Health System, based in Houston, implemented EndoSoft's "best-of-breed" gastroenterology and pulmonology applications in nine of its facilities.

Exact Sciences won a Wisconsin Innovation Award in the Healthcare/Health IT category. Exact Sciences won the award for its FDA-approved, noninvasive stool DNA colorectal cancer screening test Cologuard.

Ten financial analysts updated their short term price target for Exact Sciences, the company that developed Cologuard. The company's short term price target estimate is $29.

Black Book Rankings released its list of top ambulatory EHRs. gMed's gGastro was named the top ambulatory EHR for gastroenterology for the fifth year running.
