Your clients determine the recognition.
Your organization decides how to use it.
Black Book Research recognizes healthcare technology and services vendors based on the satisfaction ratings of their clients. For organizations receiving a category distinction, recognition and report licensing are separate decisions: purchasing a report does not create, improve or change a ranking in any way
Promote Your Recognition Without a Purchase
No report purchase, licensing agreement or advance contact with Black Book is required to promote an exact, publicly announced ranking within the published public-use guidelines. Your communications must preserve the recognized company or product, category, segment and year, accurately reflect the published result, and identify the public source.
- The Public-Source Vendor Recognition Guide explains how to use publicly available recognition in marketing, sales, business development, investor relations, client communications and business social media. It includes practical guidance for website announcements, sales presentations, proposals, email campaigns, conference signage and social posts.
- This is a self-directed option. Your organization or agency manages its own source verification, content, creative, approvals and promotion. Black Book campaign management, routine copy review and outside-agency support are not included.
- Public-source promotion does not include permission to reproduce or distribute protected report pages, score tables, proprietary charts or unpublished findings. The current Black Book seal may be used under its published guidelines.
License the Supporting Research for Unrestricted Distribution
Vendors seeking to share the research behind their recognition may acquire an unrestricted report distribution license for the supporting category report and data set.
The approximately forty page award report provides supporting research for third-party distribution. Licensed materials can be shared with prospective clients, existing customers, partners, investors, media, analysts and other third parties, rather than directing those audiences only to a public announcement. Report findings, KPI detail and comparative data can also support sales presentations, proposals, executive briefings and other uses covered by the license.

Take No Action
There is no obligation to purchase a report, launch a campaign, or contact Black Book.
Choosing not to promote or license the research does not change the recognition earned through your clients’ satisfaction ratings.
The 2027 client satisfaction surveys will be underway in December 2026.
